Faeries

Does anyone work with faeries? What do you do?  How do you do it? When? What kind of magick is it?  A little research and an open mind will lead you down a magickal path filled with opportunities to discover the fae. For now, here are few tips, or things to consider if you are becoming more aware of faeries around you.

Faeries visit forests, flowers, yards, and garden spots that are full of life. Plants and trees that attract insects, birds, and animals are a good sign that you are on the right track. Try to leave a little wild in your cultivated areas, just for the faeries!  Which faeries?

North – Earth: Gnomes *Protect outdoor areas, give material gifts and stability

Rule – the forest.  Seen as a green light. Little people, Lady Slippers.

East – Air: Sylphs *Protect magick, grant wishes, encourage dreams and knowledge

Rule – Winged beauty.  Seen as white light.  Butterflies, ladybugs, hummingbirds, bees

South – Fire: Salamanders *Protect home and business, increase creativity and passion

Rule – the fields and fire. Seen as blue flames. Dragons, lizards.

West – Water: Undines *Protect gates of death and karma, bring friendship and love

Rule – all water.  Seen as pink lights.  Mer-people, sirens, fish
