About the Artist

Hi!  I’m Amber Mackenzie.  I am a stay at home mother of three; all homeschooled!  My husband and I own and operate our business from home which allows me the opportunity to raise my children, myself.  I am an artist, an outdoor enthusiast, and avid explorer.  It is my greatest wish to teach my children about each of these things so that they may also find a passion for the beauty and mystery of nature.

As an artist, I create original one of a kind artwork for private commission or periodic sale on eBay or Etsy.  Most often, I create whimsical folk art on canvas, wood, and watercolor paper. I’m addicted to ACEO’s – trading card sized artwork. I probably collect as much as I sell! I also paint murals and create one of a kind household furnishings.

I love using recyclable materials in all of my and my children’s arts and crafts -old barn wood, found items, etc. And, I tend to mix mediums- paper, markers, ink, paint, and embellishments in all of our creations. You can find us knee deep in paints or glitter glue just about any time of the day!
